Ozone Therapy for Migraine

A migraine is a type of headache that typically affects one side of the head and can cause excruciating throbbing pain or a pulsating sensation. The pain can vary from moderate to severe headaches, depending on person to person. It’s not just a pounding in your head; it often brings along nausea and sensitivity to light and sound.

Ozone Therapy for Migraine

There have been reports of long-lasting benefits from ozone- therapy for migraine sufferers. Possible mechanisms of action for ozone include its effects on lipid peroxidation and other biochemical processes in the body, as well as its capacity to enhance oxygen delivery to tissues.

Although it is a relatively new treatment option, Ozone therapy has shown promising results. In one study, 58% of patients who got treatment did not get migraines for three to five months afterward.

Similar results were found in another Italian trial that tracked patients with severe migraine, showing a significant reduction in headache frequency in the first half-year.

Oz- therapy is a safe and effective way to treat migraines. Alleviate migraine pain with oz- therapy right away so that you don’t miss out on life’s greatest experiences.

Increasing cases of Migraine in the young population

The frequency of migraines in children has increased in recent years.

There are a number of reasons that have made the condition of migraine common among the younger population.

Some factors that have led to the rise in numbers include sedentary lifestyles, more screen time, irregular sleep patterns, increased levels of stress among the younger population along erratic eating schedules.  As reported by the Journal of Headache and Pain, global data from 2019 showed that there were about 581,761,847.2 recorded cases of migraines among people between the ages of 15 and 39. This represents a 16% increase since 1990.

Here are seven potential causes of migraines

1. Hormonal Changes: Fluctuations in estrogen, especially for women, can trigger migraines. This often occurs around the menstrual cycle.

2. Foods and Drinks: Foods and drinks like aged cheese, chocolate, caffeine, and alcohol can contribute to migraine.

3. Lack of Sleep:  A proper amount of sleep is always required for the body to function properly. Skipping sleep can cause several problems including migraines in the long run.

4. Stress and Anxiety: Stress and anxiety can make the brain overactive which can lead to migraines.

5. Sensory Stimuli: Bright lights, loud sounds, and strong smells can also trigger migraine.

6. Weather Changes: Some people are like walking barometers. Changes in weather patterns, especially drastic ones, can set off migraines.

7. Dehydration: Dehydration has the potential to trigger migraine headaches. If you are someone who is reeling with the problem of migraines, it is essential to drink plenty of water.

Foods and Drinks that Help Relieve Migraine

Ginger, Magnesium-rich Foods, Peppermint, Water, Caffeine (in moderation), Salmon and other Omega-3-rich Foods are some of the foods that can help in relieving migraine pain.
